CDBG Money To Fund Four Projects In Tuolumne County

Sonora, CA — The Groveland Senior/Youth Center, the Family Health and Wellness Center, the Food Bank, and Job Training will all receive the funding needed to move forward with operations.
The Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors voted today to reallocate the Community Development Block Grant to fund several county programs through 2006.
The Board also agreed to agendize adding $25,000 to the Job Training money at a future meeting, making this year´s budget consistent with last years at $125,000. Several people spoke in favor of all of the projects, stating the money is well worth the use the community gets out of the organizations.
