Washington Street To Be Closed For Homecoming Parade

Sonora, CA — Officials are warning motorists that a portion of north Washington Street will be closed this afternoon for the Sonora High School homecoming parade.
Principal Terry Clark says the area around the red church will be a very busy place this afternoon. The road is scheduled to be closed at about 2:20 from the red church down to Stockton Road.
The parade is expected to last about 20 minutes along Washington Street before it turns back up Stewart Street to head back to the school.
The band will then circle back behind the red church to the Court House Park to perform a concert.
The homecoming game tonight will take place tonight against Manteca at 7:00 at Dunlavey Field.
