Knights Ferry Now Has A Working Firehouse Again

Knights Ferry, CA — The Oakdale Rural Fire District reopened the station Thursday morning after being closed for 18 months.
For the past year and a half the station has been closed because the district could not afford to increase around the clock staff.
In June, voters passed a $165- per house tax to staff the stations. Another fire house in the area is scheduled to be open by March.
