Farms Made More Money In 2004 Than 2003

Sonora, CA — The state´s department of Food and Agriculture recently reported that farms made fourteen percent more last year than in 2003.
On-farm receipts rose to nearly $32 billion dollars in 2004. This isn´t all money in the bank, though. Economists say production costs have been going up as well, and eating into farmer´s profits.
