Fifteen Year Old Hiker Rescued After Falling From A Cliff

Cherry Lake — A 15-year-old San Jose youth is hospitalized after falling over a 100-foot cliff near Cherry Lake Tuesday.
CHP says the boy suffered major injuries and was unable to be moved to an area where he could be immediately rescued.
CHP says a helicopter using a hoist and cable was used to airlift the youth from the area.
He was flown to Sonora Regional Medical Center where he is listed in stable condition.
