San Andreas, CA – – Calaveras County´s “Take Woman To Heart” Project targets heart disease, which supporters say is the #1 killer of women.

They are working with the American Heart Association and their national campaign “Go Red for Women.”

Keynote Speaker Cardiologist Dr. Kenny Charn will discuss the diagnosis and treatment of heart disease, and the importance of preventative measures.

Calaveras County Supervisor and heart disease survivor Victoria Erickson will also speak about how heart disease changed her life.

She says Woman of every age can have heart disease and stroke.

The luncheon will be held at Mark Twain St. Joseph´s Hospital at noon.
