Forecasters Predict Potentially Severe Weather

Undated — Weather Forecasters are warning Northern California residents of severe weather conditions on the way.

The National Weather Service says two low pressure systems will roll through interior northern California over the next several days.

The first system is expected to hit the area tomorrow and Thursday, bringing with it showers and thunderstorms with potentially strong, gusty winds and hail. Snow levels are also likely to drop below the 7,000 foot level tomorrow night. Travelers are advised to be prepared for chain controls in the passes through Thursday.

The second system may move in Sunday and Monday bringing more showers and thunderstorms to the valleys and snow to the higher elevations.
