Hughson Man Booked For Concealed Weapon

Vallecito, CA — Patrick Bittner of Hughson was sleeping in his car when a Calaveras County Sheriff´s Deputy checked in on him to find an array of violations.
Bittner was parked on the Calaveras side of the Parrots Ferry Bridge when a deputy driving by felt Bittner´s car looked suspicious. Upon contact, Bittner had a bottle of beer in his hand and a handgun in his jacket pocket.
A loaded clip was found in Bittner´s pants along with less than 28.5 grams of marijuana. The deputy says the handgun had altered serial numbers.
Bittner was booked into Calaveras County Jail without incident.
