Weeklong Water Supply Shutdown To Hit Mother Lode

Sonora, CA — The P.G.& E. main canal that provides the primary water supply for much of Tuolumne County will be shut down for annual maintenance from Monday, October 16th through Monday, October 23rd.
The only source of water for Tuolumne Utilities District will be from storage tanks, reservoirs and wells.
The Tuolumne Utility District is preaching conservation: limit outside watering, turn off automatic lawn and drip sprinkler timers and do not wash vehicles or hose down driveways.
