Three Arrested On Methamphetamine Related Charges
Sonora, CA — Three Tuolumne County residents are facing drug charges following two traffic stops.
On Monday, Tuolumne County Sheriff´s Deputy L. Weimer stopped Edward Gilless´ vehicle because his license plate was obstructed.
Gilless was on probation for a weapons violation so he was searched by the deputy, who found a methamphetamine smoking pipe containing methamphetamine in his pants pocket.
Gilless´ vehicle was towed and Gilless was transported to the county jail.
On Tuesday, Corporal K. Dickson stopped Crystall Lamarra for driving over the double yellow lines.
Lamarra had warrants out for her arrest so Dickson arrested her. Lamarra´s passenger, James Benites, also had warrants out for his arrest and Dickson arrested him as well.
A search of their vehicle revealed a ziplock baggy containing over a gram of methamphetamine. Lamarra also had, in her pocket, a glass vial containing additional methamphetamine. Benites and Lamarra were transported and booked into the county jail.
