Finalists For YCCD Chancellor

Columbia, CA — The Yosemite Community College District has two finalists for the open Chancellor position.
The finalists are Dr. Joan Smith and Dr. Stephen Schoonmaker. Dr. Smith is currently serving as Interim YCCD Chancellor, and has also served as Columbia College President. Dr. Schoonmaker is currently the Vice President for instruction at Clatsop Community College in Astoria, Oregon.
There will be an open forum at Columbia College on February 11 to meet the two finalists. Attendees can meet Dr. Schoonmaker from 12:30-1:30pm and Dr. Smith from 2-3pm at the Manzanita Building in the Community Education Room. Both will be given a chance to talk about their education background and philosophy.
