Update: Structure Fire Reported In Sonora Area
Update 5:24 p.m.: A single-wide mobile home structure fire that spread to an outbuilding has been contained at a property located on Isom Road, specifically at the juncture of Woodham Carne and Yosemite roads. According to CAL Fire, both structures are total losses but the flames did not spread to vegetation.
Fire officials report that mop up crews will remain for next three to four hours. Currently four engines and a water tender are on-scene. No cause has yet been determined.
Update 5:08 p.m.: Columbia airbase resources have been called off a structure fire on Isom Road at the juncture of Woodham Carne and Yosemite roads. Four engines, a battalion chief and a water tender remain on the scene. According to CAL Fire, no cause has yet been determined.
Update 4:18 p.m.: CAL Fire reports a single-wide trailer is fully engulfed and flames have spread to an outbuilding on a property located in the area of Woodham Carne, Isom and Yosemite roads but that the flames have not spread to vegetation.
Original Post 4:09 p.m.: Sonora, CA — Firefighters and all Columbia airbase resources are heading to a structure fire in Tuolumne County along Woodham Carne, Isom and Yosemite roads.
CAL Fire reports that possibly a barn or trailer is on fire. There is no word on whether the flames have spread to any vegetation or if they are threatening any other structures. We will provide updates as they become available.
