Two Caught For Selling Drugs Busted Again

Sonora, CA – Sheriff’s deputies arriving at the Roll In Mobile Home Park to serve a felony failure-to-appear warrant on alleged drug dealers found reasons to file some fresh charges.

According to Tuolumne County Sheriff’s spokesperson Sgt. Andrea Benson, deputies were seeking James Owsley, 34, and Sarah Hogan, 24 on Sunday afternoon around 1:30 in conjunction with missing court appearances for prior arrests. Noticing a large amount methamphetamine in plain sight, they secured a search warrant of the residence. A narcotics team, with K9 Justice in tow subsequently executed the warrant, turning up four ounces of methamphetamine and 4.3 ounces of heroin, along with packaging and a scale, pertaining to sales of narcotics.

Owsley was booked at the county jail on felony failure to appear for a weapons charge and various drug charges; felon in possession of ammunition; committing a felony while on bail or own recognizance; possession of a controlled substance for sale; and criminal conspiracy. His bail was set at $70,000. Hogan, who is also being held on a $70,000 bail, faces felony failure to appear for various drug charges; charges of possession of controlled substance for sale; possessing or purchasing cocaine base for sale; committing a felony while on bail or own recognizance; and criminal conspiracy. Cited for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia was Tori Rowe, 21, of Columbia, who was at the residence when the bust occurred.
