Update: Power Restored In Calaveras County

Update 4:30pm: PG&E reports the power has been restored to all of the nearly 60 customers impacted by an outage that began Thursday at 9am.  The company reports crews fixed two broken power poles in the area, which were to blame for the outage.

Update 3:40pm: The lights are back on for nearly 25 PG&E customers in the Forest Meadow area of Calaveras County that have gone without electricity since 9am Thursday.  Still without power  are 33 customers along Indian Hill Road and  Dozer line. PG&E crews have been working on repairing two broken power poles. The company hopes to have all the power restored in the 4 o’clock hour.

Update at 11am: PG&E reports that 185 customers are now without power in the area of Pool Station Road. Company officials found damaged equipment and are working to make repairs. The plan is to have all of the customers impacted restored by noon.

Original story posted at 9:45am:  PG&E is working to restore power to 105 customers in the Pool Station Road area of Calaveras County.

The outage, situated between Copperopolis and Angels Camp, is also impacting parts of Riata Way, Tapadero Street, Rock Creek Road and Jaquima Drive. As you can see in the photo, PG&E officials are working to fix the problem. It is not immediately clear when there will be full restoration.

In addition, nearly 60 customers remain without electricity in the Forest Meadows area of Calaveras County. A couple of broken poles were located yesterday. PG&E plans to have those customers restored by around 4pm today.
