2 killed, 1 injured in broad daylight shooting in Oakland
OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) — Two people were killed and a third person injured in a broad daylight shooting Wednesday in Oakland, authorities said.
Police said all the victims were males, but did not release their names or ages, the East Bay Times reported.
The shooting was reported about 12:47 p.m. Wednesday in the in the city’s Webster neighborhood.
Officers responding found the three wounded victims outside. One died at the scene and another later at a hospital; the third victim was in stable condition.
It was not immediately known if the people were shot by someone on the street or from a passing vehicle. Police were investigating reports of a suspect vehicle seen fleeing the scene.
No motive has been determined yet for the Wednesday shooting and no arrests have been made.
