COlumbia, CA — Columbia State Park will be a happening place Saturday with events lasting until 10:30pm.
Park Ranger Barry Robertson says the Open House will kick off with free town tours starting at 11:00am.
Visitors will get a chance to tour the historic Wilson-McConnell House starting at 3:00pm, which was built in the 1870´s, as well as view classic cars and photos of the town during the 1940´s, which will be on display until 8:00pm.
Robertson says as night falls the entertainment will heat up with a street dance and a performance by Rod Harris and His Big Band.
More than 400 people attended the free event last year and Robertson says visitors are encouraged to dress in 1940´s style clothing.
