Yosemite National Park, CA — With all of the rock slides and road damage occurring near Yosemite National Park, officials would like the public to know that Highway 120 (West) and Highway 41 (South) are open 24 hours a day.

Additional staff is on hand to assist visitors at the Big Oak Flat (Highway 120) and South Entrance (Highway 41) gates to Yosemite National Park.

Park Officials say the summer season in Yosemite National Park is well under way, with vibrant foliage and spectacular waterfalls that are attracting many visitors to experience all that Yosemite has to offer.

In addition to the 800 miles of hiking trails available in the park, visitors can enjoy the sights of Yosemite by renting a bicycle and utilizing the 20 miles of existing trails or riding a horse to breathtaking vistas, or attending a free interpretive program, offered in locations throughout the park.
