U.S.O.C. Officials Evaluate San Francisco

San Francisco, CA — San Francisco officials made their pitch Thursday for hosting the 2016 Summer Olympic Games. The “City by the Bay” has never hosted Olympic competition.

San Francisco lost out to New York to be the U-S bid city for the 2012 games but is hoping to make another bid this time around. Los Angeles, Houston, Philadelphia and Chicago are also finalists for possibly hosting the 2016 Games.

The U-S-O-C has not decided whether to select a city to bid for the games let alone what city would be chosen if the U.S. decides to enter the worldwide bidding competition.
