San Andreas, CA — Caltrans says motorists will face delays of a half-an-hour or more starting Monday as road crews repair rock slide damage on Hwy 49.
That rock slide is three miles south of Jackson not far from the Calaveras/Amador County line. Work was delayed from January due to the heavy spring rains.
Caltrans will conduct periodic closures on an 8am through 4pm Monday through Thursday basis. Closures will also occur between 8am and 3pm on Fridays.
The project is expected to last three weeks.
