Sonora, CA — Although the rain has let up for the moment, the National Weather Service has issued an urban and small stream flood advisory until 9:00am for Calaveras and Tuolumne Counties.
Excessive runoff from the storm has caused the flooding of roadways, homes and businesses in several parts of California.
Country roads and farmland along the banks of creeks and streams are still subject to flooding as water drains into river systems.
Mud, rock, and debris flows are possible in the Mother Lode, due to the saturated soils.
