Sacramento, CA – Over the weekend Governor Schwarzenegger expressed his resolve to bring his massive infrastructure bond measures before voters in June.
Schwarzenegger and lawmakers face a Friday deadline for placing a bond package on the June ballot. The governor is calling for $68 billion in bonds and has stated he would be deeply disappointed if legislators reduce that amount to $30 billion.
Democratic Assembly Speaker Fabian Nunez says he is hopeful a deal can be consumated and is delighted the governor wants to join in the negotiations.
