Tuolumne, CA — Homeowners in the Tuolumne Me-Wuk Rancheria area will be meeting to discuss fire protection, emergency preparedness and fire prevention measures needed to protect life, property and resources from wildland fires.
The open-to-the public meeting is scheduled for the Tuolumne Me-Wuk Rancheria Tribal Administrative Hall Thursday, March 2nd at 6pm.
The meeting is sponsored by the Highway 108 FireSafe Council. The subject area consists of public, tribal and private land accessed by Tuolumne Road North.
Attendees will be able to view the new Tuolumne Me-Wuk Rancheria Fire Department wildland fire engine and meet fire department personnel.
A portion of the presentation will include updated information on the Turnback Creek Fuel Reduction Project in addition to a summary of the Greater Tuolumne City Community Wildland Protection Plan.
