Sonora, CA — With fires burning out of control in Los Angeles and Orange County, local CDF crews have been sent to lend a hand.
The Columbia Air Attack Base sent a helicopter with three firefighters Sunday and a spokesman says they will be there until they are no longer needed.
Several other crews are also down south from both Calaveras and Tuolumne Counties, including inmate crews.
The firefighters will likely stay until the fires are under control or mostly contained.
