Schwarzenegger Approval Ratings Improve With His Budget And Bonds
Sacramento, CA — A poll shows Governor Schwarzenegger´s approval rating has improved slightly following his announcement of a record $125 billion budget and $222 billion public works improvement plan.
The Public Policy Institute of California poll found Schwarzenegger´s job approval among likely voters climbed from 38 percent in October to 45 percent in January.
His support among Democrats has improved from 12 percent three months ago to 20 percent now; and among independent voters from 31 percent to 40 percent.
The governor´s support among his own Republican Party has also increased since October from 69 percent to 72 percent. The poll has a margin of error of plus or minus three percentage points.
