Sacramento, CA — Weather forecasters have now extended an urban and small stream flood advisory until noon today.
The advisory covers 14 counties including western Calaveras, southwestern Tuolumne and eastern Stanislaus Counties.
Forecasters say a small band of showers moved through the area last night. Drainage from those showers still poses a flood threat.
Forecasters say streams that are far away from the initial rainfall area could see peak levels today.
Residents living near small streams in low lying areas are urged to remain alert to possible localized flooding and keep up to date on local weather reports.
