Sonora, CA — An early November “Most Wanted” candidate was captured Thursday afternoon in Jamestown.
28 year old Anthony Bruce Ortega was apprehended by two Tuolumne County Sheriff´s deputies while they were investigating possible narcotics activity in the area of Omega Mine Rd. Ortega was booked with no bail.
Earlier this month Ortega was wanted on felony charges for violation of his parole, possession of methamphetamine and transportation of meth for sale. He was also wanted on misdemeanor charges of obstructing a peace officer, being a convicted felon in possession of a tear gas weapon, failure to register as a drug offender and driving with a suspended driver´s lincense.
