Sonora, CA — The proposed Law and Justice Center will be the focus of this weekend´s Mother Lode Views.
Tuolumne CAO Craig Pedro will discuss the overall vision of a campus that would house the Sheriff´s Administration Center, a jail, a juvenile facility, the county courthouse and the district attorney´s office.
In the first of a two part series Pedro will also comment on the criteria established for determining the appropriate property, the negotiations with the Gardella and Martin families respectively and the need for closed door negotiations regarding those properties.
Sheriff Jim Mele will discuss the need for such a facility to replace the outdated and inadequate structure located in downtown Sonora. Mele will also comment on what it would mean to his administrative staff and deputies to work in a state-of-the-art faciity.
Mother Lode Views can be heard on AM-1450 KVML at 10:30am Saturday and 8:30am Sunday. The show can also be heard Sunday on STAR 92.7 at 9am and on Today´s Country KKBN (93.5) at 10am Sunday.
