Sonora, CA — This past weekend Clarke Broadcasting´s Mother Lode Views focused on California´s timber industry.
One of our guests was Dave Bischel, president of the California Forestry Association who told us he was not at all surprised by the Angora Fire in the Tahoe Basin due to the inability of residents to remove trees and pine needles from their property. Standing in the way quite often are the Tahoe Regional Planning Commission and the Lahontan Regional Water Control Board.
Other guests included Dave Bischel, president of the California Forestry Association and Jeff Fuller, Tahoe District Manager for Sierra Pacific Industries, who expressed a number of outspoken opinions on the critical need for proper forest management.
