Montana Tipster Helps Capture “Most Wanted” Individual

Sonora, CA — Thanks to a tip from a Helena, Montana resident, 25 year old Jeramie Shane Cocco finds himself in the Tuolumne County Jail awaing trial on numerous charges.

Cocco was first placed on the Sonora Police Department´s “Most Wanted” list in June of 2006. He reappeared on the January, 2007 list.

Shortly thereafter, the Police Department received a call from the anonymous tipster who had become suspicious of Cocco. He had conducted a archive search of MyMotherLode.com and discovered that Cocco was wanted in Tuolumne County for rape, vehicle theft and grand theft. He also had a misdemeanor warrant for his arrest for obstructing a peace officer.

The tipster immediately contacted Sonora P.D. Investigator Hal Prock who in turn relayed the information regarding Cocco to the Helena Police Deparment. The arrest was made and Cocco was returned to California.

S.P.D. Officer Jon Sebring, the author of the weekly “Most Wanted” candidate story, says that thanks to tips from the public 68 per cent of all “Most Wanted” individuals have been captured. He encourages visitors to MyMotherLode.com to take note of the weekly “Most Wanted.”
