Tonight´s update is our hardest yet from a medical standpoint. Late last night we were called over to the hospital again, but this time Bryce´s heart and blood pressure were having problems on their own, and they had to max out the medicine that assists him with that as well as use a pace-maker to help the arrhythmia that his heart was having.
As doctors are approaching the end of the third week since Bryce´s heart transplant, they have pretty much exhausted all medical avenues of intervention. His kidneys and liver seem to only be getting sicker due to his heart function which is not improving. Again, they said that it has shown no signs of improvement, and therefore they do not expect his new heart to continue to work for him. So right now doctors say it is minute by minute with him, and it would take a miracle for his heart to turn around.
