Sacramento, CA — College graduates who are at least 20 years old are eligible to receive a fellowship with Senator Dave Cogdill later this year.
18 fellows are being sought to begin an 11 month assignment in October.
Cogdill represents Tuolumne, Fresno, Madera, Mariposa, San Joaquin and Stanislaus counties in the 14th District.
Fellows are responsible for researching public policy issues, helping develop legislative proposals and assisting with constituent inquiries.
Applications are due by February 28. The 18 fellows will be selected in May.
Fellows are paid a stipend of $1,972 per month plus health, vision and dental benefits. They earn 12 units of graduate credit from Sacramento State University for the academic portion of the program.
