Los Angeles, Ca — Fierce winds are fanning a fast-moving wildfire that´s burned at least 10 homes and forced thousands of people and patients in a hospital to evacuate in northern Los Angeles.
The Sayre Fire started Friday evening and has scorched over 2,600 acres. It has forced the closure of parts of Interstate 5 and Intestate 410.
West of there, in Santa Barbara County, the Tea Fire has destroyed more than 100 homes and is around 1,800 acres.
Numerous local resources from the CAL Fire Tuolumne-Calaveras Unit have been sent to southern California to help with the efforts.
