Sonora, Ca — California Lt. Governor John Garamendi will share his point of view on the budget deficit, economy, a sales tax increase, and other issues currently up for debate during this weekend´s Mother Lode Views.
Garamendi, a Calaveras County native, served in the State Assembly from 1974-76 and in the State Senate from 1976-90, including a term as Senate Majority Leader. He then went on to serve as Deputy Secretary of the U.S. Department of Interior and California Insurance Commissioner.
Garamendi will also highlight some of the issues that will be central to his platform during his 2010 run for Governor.
Mother Lode Views will air on AM-1450 KVML Saturday at 9:30am and Sunday at 8:30am. Mother Lode Views can also be heard Sunday at 9am on STAR 92.7 and at 10am on Today´s Country 93.5 KKBN.
