Sonora, CA — Effective July 1 Sonora Regional Medical Center celebrated its first full year as the lone healthcare provider in Tuolumne County.
The weekend the threesome of retiring President-CEO Lary Davis, Senior V.P. for Patient Care Julie Kline and V.P. for Business Planning and Marketing Doug Duffield will discuss the past 12 months and the impact the transition from two hospitals to one has exacted on the S.R.M.C. staff and the county on Mother Lode Views.
In addition Lary Davis will discuss the reason for his September 30 departure after serving in his current role for the past 19 years. He will reflect on the hospitals challenges and accomplishments in addition to commenting on the state of the healthcare industry in the U.S.
Julie Kline will address the difficulties of assemblying a staff in the extremely short timeframe presented the hospital by Tuolumne County. She will also comment on the county´s closing of the Psych Unit currently housed in the Tuolumne General Medical Facility.
Doug Duffield will summarize new programs and services that have been initiated during the “transitional” year.
Mother Lode Views is aired on AM-1450 KVML Saturday at 9am and again Sunday at 8:30am. Mother Lode Views can also be heard on STAR 92.7 Sunday at 9am and an hour later on Today´s County, 93.5 KKBN.
