Sonora High School Superintendent Scheduled For Mother Lode Views

Sonora, CA — Sonora High School´s new superintendent Dr. Mike McCoy will be the guest on Mother Lode Views this weekend.

McCoy is succeeding Rob Gaskill who departed the Mother Lode December 31 to accept the superintendent´s position at the Cabrillo Unified School District which serves approximately 3,800 students residing in and around the coastal communities of Half Moon Bay, El Grandad and Montara.

McCoy comes to Sonora after serving as the Assistant Superintendent for Employee Relations and Personnel Services in the Grant Joint Union High School District in northern California for 28 months.

McCoy has a B.A. from U.C. Santa Barbara, an M.A. from Chico State and a Doctor of Philosophy degree from U.C. Santa Barbara.

Mother Lode Views is aired on AM-1450 KVML Saturdays at 9:30am and Sundays at 8:30am. Mother Lode Views can also be heard Sundays at 9am on STAR 92.7 and an hour later on Today´s Country 93.5 KKBN.
