Mother Lode Power Outages Reduced to 150
Sacramento, CA — According to P.G.& E.´s Nicole Tam, by 2:30 Sunday afternoon only 150 Mother Lode residents remained without power.
With the weather clearing during the morning and early afternoon hours, repair crews were working at full capacity before the arrival of another storm front.
Tam continues to emphasize that access and crew safety have been the two most challenging issues in regards to achieving full restoration.
More than 2,000,000 P.G.& E. customers from Bakersfield to the Oregon border have lost power at one time or another during the series of storms that have ravaged the state. 1.8 million of those customes have had their power restored.
Overall more than 530 power polls have been damaged along with 500 miles of transmission lines. In addition approximately 500 transformers have been damaged along with 650 cross arms.
