Accident On Jamestown Rd. Will Require PG&E To Shut Down Power Friday Afternoon
Jamestown, Ca — Due to the big rig truck accident on Jamestown Rd. this morning, some PG&E customers will go without power this afternoon.
While the accident did not cause an immediate outage, the truck did do some damage to a power pole.
“The repairs are going to effect 3,200 customers,” says PG&E spokesperson Nicole Tam.
There is not currently a timeframe as to when or how long power will be out. The CHP says the accident resulted in a fatality. The name of the individual involved has not been released.
