Countdown Continues For June 3 Primary Election

Sonora, CA — Tuolumne County Clerk and Auditor Debi Russell is encouraging those who vote by mail to mail their ballots as soon as possible and definitely no later than Friday, May 30.

Russell says approximately 60 percent of all Tuolumne County voters vote by mail. Once those ballots are received by the Elections Office they are tabulated. The quicker the public responds the more meaningful the early returns will be Tuesday evening when the polls close at eight o´clock.

All ballots, mailed or hand delivered, must be in the hands of the Elections Department no later than 8pm, Tuesday, June 3.

Full Primary Election coverage will be aired on AM-1450 KVML Tuesday evening from 8-11pm. 30 minute updates will be provided on STAR 92.7 and Today´s Country 93.5 KKBN.

Election coverage will also be provided on the Home Page and Elections Page of MyMotherLode.com. Coverage will also be audio streamed live on MyMotherLode.com.
