Sonora, CA — 3rd District Congressman Dan Lungren will share his thoughts on health care reform, energy, bailouts and other issues being debated in Washington, DC on this weekend’s Mother Lode Views.
“There is a reason that Congress did not pass the health care bill before August, and it is because they heard all the concerns of the American people,” says Lungren. “They (Congress) need to continue to hear all of those concerns in order to make sure that whatever decision we make is the right one.”
Lungren, an opponent of the Democrats proposal, recently held town hall meetings on the issue in Citrus Heights and Jackson.
The Congressman will also talk about why he opposed the recent “Cash for Clunkers” program, and address concerns about the increasing federal deficit.
Mother Lode Views can be heard on AM-1450 KVML Saturday at 9:30am and Sunday at 8:30am. Mother Lode Views can also be heard on Today’s Country, 93,5 KKBN at 8am Sunday, and an hour later at 9am on STAR 92.7.
