Sonora, CA — Approximately 35 CAL Fire personnel remain outside the Tuolumne-Calaveras Unit fighting the Lockheed Fire near Bonnie Doon in the Santa Cruz area.
According to Emergency Command Center Communications Operator Jim DeVoll one strike team of engines and two strike teams of hand crews along with miscellaneous personnel remain on site of the 7,817 acre fire which is now 100 percent contained.
All evacuation orders have been lifted for the fire which started August 12. The cost of fighting this fire to date stands at $26.6 million.
Cause of the fire remains under investigation.
