Representative Radanovich; The U.S. May Be Headed Toward Bankruptcy

Washington, D.C. – In an exclusive interview with KVML News this morning 19th District Congressional Representative George Radanovich stated that this country may very well be headed toward bankruptcy with the new administration.

Stated Radanovich from his Washington, D.C. office, "It’s clear I think how this new majority in the House and the Senate and how I think this new president is going to govern and that’s going to be way to the left with a lot of spending that’s going to threaten to bankrupt this country."

Radanovich stated that while earlier in the week President Obama made a public statement that he wanted a bipartisan effort in crafting the Stimulus Package, that very package had already been authored by a pair of Democrats, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, behind closed doors.

When asked how much of the Stimulus Package was actually earmarked toward stimulating the economy Radanovich commented that it would probably be only about $100 billion of the $819 billion.

He added the package has allocated $200 million toward a renovation of the National Mall which is far more than has been set aside in tax cuts for small businesses which make up 70 percent of all business in this country.
