Sacramento, CA — Finding a solution to the state budget crisis is the top priority in Sacramento following Governor Schwarzenegger´s State of the State address this week.
“There are many challenges ahead,” says 1st District State Senator Dave Cox in his weekly Capital Report. “News of our economic crisis, housing market turmoil and mounting job losses will not help with the state´s treasury.”
“There are no sacred cows. We all must put our differences aside to resolve this budget crisis,” Cox adds.
Cox says the state is in the midst of difficult times and their will be real affects on California residents. The state is facing a projected $42 billion deficit.
