New Roles For Mother Lode Congressional Representatives
Washington, DC — The Mother Lode´s Congressional Representatives have been given their new assignments for the 111th Congress by the Republican House leadership.
19th District Representative George Radanovich has been selected to be a ranking member on the Subcommittee on Commerce, Trade and Consumer Protection.
Radanovich writes in a statement, “Energy and Commerce will be one of the key Committees in the coming Congress and I´m excited about using this new position to help advance our conservative free market principles.”
Meanwhile 3rd District Representative Dan Lungren has been tapped to be the ranking Republican on the Committee on House Administrations. The Committee has jurisdiction over all matters and legislation related to the House of Representatives.
The appointments were made leading up to next week´s Inauguration of soon-to-be President Barack Obama. Tuesday´s Inauguration will be aired live on 1450 KVML and Mymotherlode.com beginning at 8:55am.
