Sonora, CA — This weekend the supervisorial Board Chairs for Tuolumne and Calaveras counties respectively will be featured on Mother Lode Views.
Third District Supervisor Teri Murrison is the new Board Chair in Tuolumne County while Fifth District Supervisor Russ Thomas holds that same role in Calaveras County.
Murrison will speak on a number of subjects including the need to protect water resources in the Mother Lode given the increased demand from the Delta, the Bay Area and southern California.
Thomas will address his passionate interest in eliminating all Fourth of July fireworks in Calaveras County given the annual fire danger in the Mother Lode.
Both supervisors will comment on the state´s inability to lock in on a workable budget.
Mother Lode Views can be heard on AM-1450 KVML Saturday morning at 9:30 and Sunday morning at 8:30. Mother Lode Views can also be heard on Today´s Country 93.5 KKBN Sunday at 8am and on STAR 92.7 one hour later.
Tuesday of the following week Mother Lode Views will be posted on MyMotherLode.com under Live Audio Streams located in the right hand column of the home page.
