The Winter Storm Warning has been extended for the Sierra Nevada through 4 AM Thursday.
This storms will bring an additional three to six feet of snow above 6000 feet.
Snow levels will fluctuate between 3000 to 4500 feet.
A Wind Advisory is in effect for the Motherlode until 6 PM tonight.
A High Wind Watch has also been issued for the Motherlode, by the National Weather Service, from Wednesday morning through Wednesday afternoon.
Wind speeds of 25 to 40 mph will occur on Wednesday with gusts up to 60 mph.
This could bring potential problems with local power outages, falling tree limbs and downed trees.
Additional storms will continue through Friday.
Total snow accumulation in the Sierra through Friday, could be as much as ten feet above 6000 to 7000 feet.
