Sonora, CA — Tuolumne County Administrative Officer Craig Pedro and his Calaveras County counterpart Jeanne Boyce will preview the 2010 challenges on this week’s Mother Lode Views.
Both will discuss the state’s inability to balance its budget and the effect it continues to have on local municipalities.
In addition Pedro will comment on the continuing Law and Justice Center project and answer the question; down the road will Tuolumne County citizens ever be faced with a tax increase or a ballot measure to help pay for the proposed $253 million campus.
Among other topics Ms. Boyce will discuss her county’s ongoing jail project along with an estimate of when the long awaited General Plan Update will be completed.
Mother Lode Views is aired on AM-1450 KVML at 9:30 Saturday morning and 8:30 Sunday morning. Mother Lode Views can also be heard on 93.5 KKBN at 8am Sunday and an hour later on STAR 92.7.
