A Winter Storm Warning for the Sierra Nevada remains in effect through Thursday 4 p.m.
Two to four inches of snow accumulation is expected at 5000 feet. Eight inches to two feet of snow is likely above 5000 through 7000 feet.
Additionally, the National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for both the Motherlode and the Sierra Nevada through noon on Wednesday.
Winds in the Motherlode may be around of twenty to thirty mph. Wind gusts could range up to forty-five mph.
In the Sierra Nevada, winds of twenty to forty mph have been expected with strong gusts from forty to ninety mph along the crest.
