The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for the Sierra Nevada from late tonight through late Sunday night ending in a Winter Weather Advisory through Monday 4 AM.
Snow levels will gradually rise to 3000 to 3500 feet by this afternoon.
Four to eight inches of snow accumulation is likely above 3500 feet. Half a foot to a foot of snow is expected at 4000 feet. One to three feet of snow is possible above 7000 feet.
Winds of fifteen to twenty-five mph are expected with gusts reaching up to thirty-five mph.
