Update: Sierra Nevada Winter Weather Advisory
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the Sierra Nevada above 5,000 feet, from 11 AM this morning through 11 AM Tuesday.
Total snow accumulations will range from four to sixteen inches.
The heaviest snowfall is expected during the evening.
Winds will gust as high as fifty-five mph.
Campers and hikers should be prepared for deteriorating weather conditions.
A Winter Weather Advisory means periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.
