Mother’s Day and Round Up Weekend Events

Several events will be taking place this Mother’s Day and Mother Lode Round Up weekend.

The 56th annual Mother Lode Round Up parade begins at 10am. Chairs are already beginning to line Washington street. For the earlier Newsmaker of the day story click here. Saturday is also National Train Day, so Railtown 1897 in Jamestown will have a lot going on. For details view the event listing here.

On Saturday at 7:30pm at Bret Harte High School Theater in Angels Camp there will be a performance. The event is called “Way Out West In 1861” and features champion fiddle player, David Rainwater and Pat Kaunert as Mark Twain. Details are in the event listing here.

Also on Saturday is the “Spring Fling Recreation Department Dance” at the Tuolumne Memorial Hall. The event is for kids in 7th to 10th grade. For more information view the event listing here.
